What is UVDTF?

UV DTF (Ultra-Violet Direct-to-Film) Printing is an innovative printing process that utilises a UV printer to print directly to film. This process offers many advantages, including increased durability and affordability, over traditional printing methods.

Important information:

• These UVDTFs are waterproof but NOT DISHWASHER SAFE
• They are also not microwave safe
• If you prep your surfaces with rubbing alcohol before application, you MUST ensure that is has COMPLETELY dried before applying the UVDTF, so that the alcohol does not interfere with the print.
• Easy to apply, but almost impossible to remove without damaging the design/surface. Once they’re down, they’re down.
• Suitable for application on most hard surfaces

How to Apply:

1. Squeegee the wrap on both sides

2. Trim wrap or cut into pieces to make your wrap sized to your preference

3. Make sure glass/plastic is clean and prepped. (Remember if you use alcohol to do this several minutes before application to prevent the alcohol damaging the wrap)

4. Peel the film backing away until it comes off

5. Place the print onto your surface, making sure it is accurately lined up so that you do not need to lift it and replace it.

6. Add pressure to the design with your hands to securely adhere it to the surface. I find working from the centre outwards works best to alleviate bubbles

7. Carefully peel the clear top film off - do this slowly to avoid pulling the design up with it

8. That’s it! Now you can admire your beautiful creation!
